IT United is designed to deepen the understanding of, commitment to and support of United Way with technology leaders, and to recognize their deep commitment to service. A team of prominent chief information officers (CIOs) and technology leaders formed IT United in 2007.
IT United brings together leaders in the technology industry in metro Atlanta and provides numerous benefits to its member companies, including:
- Increased visibility of your organization in your local community.
- Further business growth of your company.
- A forum to interact with your customers and build stronger relationships.
- Participation in events such as the CIO Forum Series which takes place in January and April each year. At the CIO Forum, three technology companies are recognized in front of their peers as leaders in the community.
- Synergy as you work with other technology leaders around a central cause, and through the annual CEO calls that allow for individual time with top CIOs in metro Atlanta.
CIO Forum Series
These invitation-only events include panel discussions in which leading CIOs address key projects and technology efforts. Two technology companies are recognized for their leadership efforts and presented awards from United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta.
