IT United is designed to deepen the understanding of, commitment to and support of United Way with technology leaders, and to recognize their deep commitment to service.
IT United brings together leaders in the technology industry in metro Atlanta and provides numerous benefits to its member companies, including:
- Increased visibility of your organization in your local community.
- Further business growth of your company.
- An annual event to interact with your customers and build stronger relationships.
- Customized team-building and volunteer events, coordinated by United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta staff, that connect your employees to their community.

CIO Networking Events
These invitation-only events include panel discussions and networking opportunities in which leading CIOs address key projects and technology efforts. Two technology companies are recognized for their leadership efforts and presented awards from United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta. Companies are recognized with Leadership Giving Awards for the highest fundraising increase and highest grossing new company.

Results you can see
United Way is creating opportunities for all by focusing on the building blocks of a good life: education, income and health. Our goal is to create lasting changes that prevent problems before they happen, such as working to end chronic homelessness. By bringing hope and opportunity to our region, United Way is creating a brighter future for those who live here today, and those who will call metro Atlanta home in the future. Community Impact Fund grants were awarded by volunteers to more than 400 programs, from more than 200 nonprofit organizations, that align with our mission across our 13-county region.
