As an Employee Campaign Manager (ECM), you are the liaison between your company and United Way, and you lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of your organization's annual United Way campaign. The ECM Toolkit walks you through your campaign from start to finish, This one stop resource guide has fun campaign ideas, a sample rally agenda, a messaging overview and the answers to the most frequently asked questions our ECMs get. Save the link in your favorites or print out a copy and keep it handy at your desk throughout your campaign.
Poster
Use this poster to remind employees about your campaign. Use a marker to add the date and time of campaign events at your company, and put the poster on doors or walls that employees will see often. When the campaign's over, flip it around and use the back to say "thank you!"
Brochure
This short, easy-to-read piece will help your employees make the choice to give. By providing tangible examples of the kinds of work happening in each focus area and connecting it easy-to-remember dollar amounts, you and your co-workers will be able to feel good about the difference their gift is making.
Video
Use this during your campaign kickoff for those people who like to learn from video, or to give your event some multi-media. Link to it on your corporate intranet so employees can check out United Way from their desks. You can download a low resolution version, see the video on You Tube or Vimeo, or get a DVD from your United Way representative.
Pledge form
Researchers have found that the number one reason people don't give -- no one asked them! Don't forget to provide your employees with a way to join our movement. Get a pdf here, or contact your United Way representative for hard copies.
